Pinewood is a luxury Hotel offering an experience that is truly special. It is ideally situated on the white sandy shores of Galu Beach, one of the finest beaches in Kenya, south of Mombasa. Unlike traditional hotels, Pinewood is small, private and very personal. It is set amidst heavy tropical flora and palms and offers an ambience that is supremely Tropical.
You will be accommodated in one of the twenty spacious and tastefully furnished private villas which comprise 2 or 3 air-conditioned bedrooms with en suite baths, lounge dining area and kitchen. From each bedroom there is a shady balcony and on the ground floor, a large verandah covering the frontage where private barbecues can be arranged. Each villa is allocated an experienced Chef who is capable of producing the highest culinary standard in the villa to your individual choice. You have the option of eating what you want and when you want - a special feature.

Like most good hotels, Pinewood offers a comprehensive and wide range of facilities, services and excursions. The in-house facilities include an attractive swimming pool with a swim-up bar, Snack Bar, 'Peponi' Beach Bar and Restaurant (informal), water sports, snorkelling, floodlit tennis court, championship squash court, table tennis, shop, beauty and massage saloon and conference facilities.

Our activities that can be pre-booked are diving, deep sea fishing, golf at the local 18 hole course, weddings and a trip on the dhow restaurant.
Each villa is allocated an experienced Chef who is capable of producing the highest culinary standard in the villa to your individual choice.
Each villa has telephones with fax and email facilities available in the hotel. Your villa will be serviced by a house keeper who will also collect the laundry. At nearby Diani there are Doctors, Hospital, Banks, Shops, Supermarket, Restaurants, Discos, Night Clubs, Casinos, Hairdressers and local airstrip for international charter flights.
